Australia’s Biggest One-Day Agricultural Show is Back
The Waroona Agricultural Show, Australia’s largest one-day agricultural event, will be returning for its 87th Anniversary on Saturday 7 October, 2017. Held at the Waroona Showground, this family-friendly event will have everything from cattle, horses, poultry, and farm machinery to hall exhibits, a wood chop, carnival games and rides plus more. The official program will be available on the Waroona Show website very soon, so keep an eye out for the full list of exhibitions and events. The show falls in the school holiday period, so bring the whole family along for this fun-filled day!
Now that the weather is warming up once again, it’s the perfect time to join in on an award-winning Jarrahdale guided walk through one of WA’s oldest bush settlements. Pack a picnic and head down to the Old Post Office Museum from 8:30am Sunday 27 August, Saturday 16 September, Sunday 24 September, or Sunday 22 October, 2017. Visit the official Jarrahdale website for a detailed calendar of the guided walks, or to find out information about the museum, parks, and surrounding eateries.
