Sunday Markets (Last weeks) and Historical Photographs
The Mandjar Markets will be wrapping up mid-May, so make sure you head down to bag a bargain. From award-winning arts and crafts to gourmet goods for the foodie in your household, there’s something for every taste and style. The markets are held at the Mandurah Eastern Foreshore and run every Sunday between 9am-4pm until 14 May, 2017. Drop in to watch some live local music and entertainment, or bring the family for amusements rides and camel and pony rides.
Mandurah Local History Photographic Awards
Do you think you have historical photographs worth sharing? The Mandurah Local History Photographic Awards 2017 is your chance to showcase them. Entries close Sunday 30 April at 3pm sharp, so to be in the running, visit the City of Mandurah webpage and download an entry form. Otherwise, visit the City of Mandurah Library, the Mandurah Community Museum, or the Seniors and Community Centre, Mandurah, and pick up a form.
There are three categories:
Photographs of parades, festivals, sporting events, ANZAC services and more, are what the Mandurah Community Museum are hunting down. Your contributions could earn you a prestigious award, presented at a ceremony on Thursday 8 June, 2017, at the museum. Time to dust off those old photo albums.
